摘要
For several years, researchers, engineers and technicians of Well Construction and Maintenance area of PDVSA Intevep, and engineers from PDVSA E&P Division, have exerted great efforts for the development, adaptation and implementation of technologies to create maximum value mainly in areas such as drilling fluids, completion and workover fluids, well cementing, and drilling cuttings treatment and disposal. All these technologies are nowadays commercially available, under manufacturing and contracting licenses, granted to leader manufacturers and service companies, respectively. This paper presents a review of these technologies, showing their competitive advantages and impact on the oil business. Also, efforts currently carried out for new developments in one the most important technological areas of R&D portfolio of PDVSA Intevep are presented namely the capture, adaptation, and development of technologies to guarantee the success in the different planning and execution stages of well construction and maintenance area.
