THE ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECT OF THE NUMBER OF TEETH OF THE CIRCULAR-SAW BLADE ON THE CRITICAL ROTATION SPEED

摘要
In most cases, the cutting of wood is proceeded at high feed speed and high cutting speed of the circular-saw blades. At present time, the asymmetric circular-saw blade is the most commonly used in the cutting process. The results of the measuring the natural frequency of two structuraly different circular saw blades are presented in this paper. The types of the circular saw blades are: with six sigmoid compensating slots (24 teeth) and with six sigmoid compensating slots (36 teeth). The diameters of the circular-saw blades were 350 mm. The determinate informations were obtained upon experimental measurements, which are graphically illustrated and refered to in article. The influence of the number of teeth on the critical rotation speed is shown, where if k = 3 and k = 4 is an small decrease of critical rotation speed (CBI) towards (CB2).
