Structural and magnetic properties of Ca1.5La0.5FeMoO6 perovskite at high pressures

摘要
Neutron diffraction measurements were made under pressure on Ca1.5La0.5FeMoO6 double perovskite. The monoclinic P2(1)/n structure remains stable up to 5.7 GPa. The ordered magnetic moments at B(Fe) sites increase with pressure, while those at B'(Mo) ones are nearly pressure independent. The magnetic properties determined by neutron diffraction, at normal pressure, are compared with those obtained from magnetic measurements. The sites occupancies and valence states of Fe and Mo cations, when increasing pressure, have been analysed and correlated with the structure parameters. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
