摘要：

We report on the most recent progress in charm and charmonium spectroscopy. Many new states have been discovered in the high statistics data sets from B-factories and CLEO experiment. Some of these particles are candidates for being exotic non q (q) over bar states. We will concentrate on results obtained at the BABAR experiment which are based on up to approximate to 470 fb(-1) of e(+)e(-) collisions at the Gamma(4S) resonance at the PEP-II linear accelerator at SLAC.
