The Problem of Causation and Responsibility: Correlation between Philosophical and Legal

The author analyzes the approach according to which causation problems in law ought to be decided only on behalf of philosophical method. The conclusion was made that causality is a complex, specific legal phenomenon and legal science should create particular theory based on philosophical notion about that. Distinguishes between terms "causation" and "causation doctrine" were shown. Where the latter is system of knowledge about feature defining connection between action and legal result, and the category of causality is the type of regular connection that is characterized as unidirectional in time and spatially uninterrupted correlation between elements of cause constituting homogeneous consequences.
