摘要
Objective: the objective of the present study is to investigate, via experiment, how augmented reality (AR) can be used to adapt a production system, providing professional training. Methodology: a descriptive qualitative research was developed, which considered the existence of a dynamic relationship between the real world and the researched subject. A quantitative nature is also adopted, as it translates information into numbers to classify and organize it. The research design used is experimental, to observe the effects of variables on the object of study. The data collection used is direct and extensive observation, through the analysis of the results of the experiment that will be compared with the reality used in the industrial environment. Originality: due to the low number of publications comparing traditional training methods with methods using AR, this study presents the implementation of a work model that adopts AR to improve professional qualification and production processes. Main Results: the results demonstrate that the proposed method is more effective for professional training than traditional methods. Theoretical contributions: it has been proven that the use of technological resources empowers people in any activity, improving performance, in addition to resulting in a more economical process. Social Contributions: This study provided a view of the numerous possibilities of applying technological resources to improve the conditions of work activities, bringing convenience, comfort, solving problems, promoting professional training and improving personal skills.
