EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH OF DYNAMIC INTERACTION OF PILE FOUNDATIONS WITH GROUND BASE

摘要
This paper describes the results of complex experimental research obtained in laboratory testing and field conditions with large-scale models and real pile foundations. The experiments allowed registering and analyzing the parameters of foundation vibrations, dynamic loading stress and piles deformations. Behaviour of single piles, piles as a part of different size clusters, piled foundations and pile-reinforced spread foundations was studied during impulse, kinematic, shock and harmonious vibration excitation. Dynamic loading was applied to foundation both vertically and horizontally. Impulse excitation occurred upon sudden removal of constant load. Kinematic vibration excitation was carried out due to elastic waves spreading in soil from different sources. Obtained experimental data allowed us to develop design models of pile foundations working under dynamic loadings, analytical and numerical methods allowing us to calculate vibrations of pile foundations.
