摘要
Introduction: Endometrial cancer is the most common gynecological cancer in developed countries such as United States and Europe. From all gynecological cancer cases at Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (CMH), there were 346 (7.76%) endometrial cancer cases found between January 2011 and August 2016. Through this study, we aimed to determine the sociodemographic characteristics, clinical diagnosis, and surgical pathological evaluation of endometrial cancer patients at CMH. Method: We conducted a cross-sectional study. Secondary data were collected from INASGO (Indonesian Society of Gynecologic Oncology) data registration. This study involved all endometrial cancer patients in CMH. Samples were taken from 1st January 2014 until 31st December 2015 and the data were analyzed using Stata/MP 13.0. Result: As much as 163 patients fit the inclusion criteria. Based on sociodemographic characteristics, 100 patients (61.35%) were >= 52 years old. Based on clinical diagnosis, 61 patients (37.42%) were nulliparity and 30 patients (28.85%) had stage IB endometrial cancer. From surgical pathological evaluation, more than half of the patients (58.62%) had > 1/2 myometrial invasion and 36 cases (66.67%) had no metastasis. As much as 94 histopathological results (57.67%) were endometrioid adenocarcinoma, 39 (41.05%) were moderately differentiated, 35 (72.92%) had absent Lymphovascular Space Involvement (LVSI), and 20 (60.6%) cases were histopathologically-proven negative node. Conclusion: Majority of endometrial cancer cases were found in older patients (>= 52 years old) and manifested in early stage (mostly stage IB). The most common histopathological finding was moderately differentiated endometrioid adenocarcinoma. Most cases had no metastasis and LVSI.
