摘要
As Carbon Capture and Storage slowly gets accepted and integrated as a mean for cleaner utilization of fossil fuels, the integration of capture, transport and storage becomes a key component to properly design a CO2 network. While the boundary conditions set by the capture and storage units have been the subject of much research, less attention has been paid to the challenges presented by the design and operation of full scale transport networks. Transport can however present a number of operational issues, especially due to the combination of horizontal and vertical flows, and the eventual presence of multiple injection wells. This paper provides an assessment of some issues occurring during transport of CO2 for injection in multiple sinks. (C) 2013 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
