A Comparative Study on Sports Majors and Non-sports Majors' Explicit Aggression

Adopting Questionnaire BPAQ (Buss,A.H.&Perry,M.) to test the sports and non-sports majors' explicit aggression, the research shows as follows: first, there exist significant differences in physical aggression, and sports majors are higher than non-sports majors. While in hostility, non-sports majors are apparently higher than sports majors. Second, among sports majors, men are higher than women in physical aggression; there exist distinct gender differences in verbal aggression, and women are higher than men. Third, we should develop sports majors' moral and cultural qualities and raise their scientific and cultural levels, and reduce unnecessary aggressions and damages, and for some brave acts, we should commend them and promote the integrity in order to prevent improper conduct.
