摘要
The present paper considers the dry sliding wear performance of Cu-Sn-MoS2 reinforced metal matrix composites against steel for varying tribological test parameters. The composite is prepared by powder metallurgy process and the influence of MoS2 additions was also analysed. The tribological test is performed by varying applied load, sliding speed and sliding distance. The dry sliding wear performance is studied using pin-on-disc and optimised using a Taguchi L27 orthogonal array. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) is performed to observe the significance of test parameters and their interactions on wear performance. Results show that sliding distance has the highest influence followed by a load and reinforcement. The wear tracks are analysed with the help of scanning electron microscopy.
