摘要：

The economic development of any country is determined by the level of production development of its regions. Production functions are an important element of a sufficiently large number of regional development models and allow not only to describe the behavior of the regional economy in an explicit functional form, but also to conduct a quantitative analysis of its effectiveness using the accompanying calculation and analytical apparatus. In this case, the Cobb - Douglas production functions are often used, showing the dependence of the volume of production on the factors that create it. In this paper, the Cobb-Douglas production function is constructed on the basis of statistical data for 2007-2018 from one of the leading regional economies in Russia - the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. The value of the gross regional product is chosen as the indicator of production volume.
