摘要
Contemporary research on multicultural management in multinational companies tends to only use a deductive approach, which causes limitation of this area through subsequent creation of narrowly defined theoretical concepts. The aim of this paper is to show that the current approach to research on multicultural management, especially in the context of managing multicultural teams, is no longer sufficient and it is necessary to change the way of exploring this phenomenon. Article emphasises the need of applying such research approach which would create a theory concerning the management principles. A suitable method for the nature of the study area appears to be the method of grounded theory, which allows the building of theoretical concepts based on real data.
