摘要：

The paper deals with the problem of improving dynamic torque performances of DC motor by finding its optimal geometry. The latter is achieved by means of finite element analysis and Taguchi method. For this analysis the starting torque is adopted as an evaluation function. The starting torque of the optimal model is about 50% bigger than that of initial model.
