AC grounding of cathodically protected structures using solid-state decoupling devices

摘要：
Many applications in the cathodic protection (CP) industry require that equipment be direct-current isolated to facilitate CP and simultaneously alternating-current grounded to comply with safety grounding requirements. This can be accomplished through the use of decoupling devices. This article explains the characteristics of solid state decoupling devices and describes a representative sample of problems that these devices have been used to solve.
