摘要
The internet is already an integral part of people's lives. The aforesaid statement is becoming increasingly valid, in particular in the context of the emerging phenomenon known as Industry 4.0. Avoiding the use of online technologies will be increasingly difficult. With regard to the amount of information, it can be argued that our virtual life is significantly more and better monitored than our real one, a fact which carries risks. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare the young generation for the threats that will affect them in reality. The present paper analyses in detail the potential risks and possible benefits associated with digital identity, as this can concurrently be a useful tool, in particular in the individualization of internet services. It also deals with specific examples used to illustrate individual phenomena associated with digital identity. Attention is also paid to the inclusion of this topic in school teaching.
