MODERN TRENDS IN CORPORATE PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

The central theme of this paper is the issue of corporate performance. The paper presents results of analysis of the state-of-art on corporate performance, partial research in the area of enterprise competitiveness and performance which was carried out within the project SGS-2013-040 Development paradigm in the 21st century and its influence on economic entities behavior. The paper represents the authors' answers on following key questions: "How (with respect to economic development and modern trends of the early 21st century) to determine the performance of the company? What kind of methods, respectively tools, is the best for optimal enterprise performance management? What are the pitfalls associated with financial variables measuring and evaluating corporate performance? Which modern trends should the issue corporate performance and ensuring quality information into account and how?"
