Unusual Presentation of Orbital Cysticercosis in Subperiosteal Space

摘要：

The authors describe a previously unreported case of subperiosteal orbital cysticercosis in a child. Surgical incision on the periosteum led to the extrusion of a cyst, which was confirmed histopathologically. Cysticercosis should also be considered in the differential diagnosis of subperiosteal abscess. [J Pediatr Ophthalmol Strabismus 2008;45:379-380.]
