摘要
A short review is given on the syncarids from the Stephanian D of the Saar-Nahe-Basin. Uronectes palatinus n. sp. and Spinocaris horribilis n. g. n. sp. are described as new species of syncarids. Unidentified syncarids from three localities are discussed to show that it is not possible to determine all remains of syncarids at the moment. It is shown that at least some remains of syncarids from the Saar-Nahe-Basin can be interpreted as exuviae. For Uronectes fimbriatus a possible sexual dimorphism is pointed out and based on this the ecological interpretation of these syncarids is discussed.
