摘要
In business rules-based information systems (IS) events modelling and their linking with appropriate rules enable the system automatically react to the defined events and perform the defined actions, e.g. trigger rules automatically. But first, it is necessary to determine the events and ensure that they are appropriate. Moreover, it is necessary to ensure the correspondent events implementation in ISs effectively. These requirements can be implemented by the explicit use of enterprise knowledge for events implementation in active DBMSs, since events are specific knowledge about application domain. In this paper we present an approach for knowledge represented by ontology usage for events modelling, starting form business system and finishing the software system. As a result the concept of an event is defined and schema of events transformation from business system into corresponding IS and software system is presented.
