摘要
In order to achieve faster spreading of good-quality wood structures and wooden buildings at a relatively low price, the theoretical and experimental investigation seem to be inevitable. Static dimensioning of wood structures seems to be of particular importance, especially if stress states are concentrated in the tested point. However, present strength criteria can be utilized only if the material characteristics of chosen substances art known. For orthogonal anisotropic substances, minimum 12 or 15 strength characteristics have to be experimentally found, Presented article gives components of strength tensor and the technical strength of beech wood.
