摘要：
Deepwater fields can be developed with a gas/liquid separator and a liquid-booster pump at the riser base. There are many challenges for subsea equipment installed in this system. However, the business case concludes that the additional investment costs are limited compared with the increased income. Gas/liquid separation and liquid boosting at the riser base also facilitate a hydrate-prevention philosophy for deepwater fields.
