Blended Learning as an Efficient Method for Discrete Mathematics Teaching

摘要
Blended learning represents a combination of computer-mediated and face-to-face instruction. The paper deals with efficiency of this modern method in educational process at Trnava University. The author analyses the results of an experiment focused on discrete mathematics teaching by blended learning. The analysis shows that this modern method of teaching represents an effective alternative to a classical way of teaching. Moreover, it is possible to reduce the number of lessons taught by a teacher without any need to reduce teaching goals.
