EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF GROUTED ANCHORS IN NATURAL STONE MASONRY WALLS UNDER STATIC AND CYCLIC LOADING

摘要
The grouted anchor-technology is widely used to strengthen historical stone masonry buildings, especially in earthquake regions. The presented research summarizes the experimental results for masonry walls strengthened by grouted anchors and tested under static and cyclic dynamic loading to investigate the behaviour and the load carrying capacity. Static pull-out tests were carried out to study the failure mechanism and to obtain the maximum static load capacity of grouted anchor. The cyclic loading as dynamic action has been simulated in form of a sinus function with constant frequency and arranged with different force-amplitudes. The results obtained from the tests are used to formulate a model for the behaviour of the grouted anchors close to the reality. It allows to determine the load carrying capacity of the grouted anchors under the static pull-out test and the cyclic dynamic loading.
