摘要
Coordination polymers of Cu(ll), Ni(ll), Co(lb), Mn(il), Zn(ll), oxovanadium(ll) and dioxouranium(VI) with 2,4-dihydroxyacetophenone oxime-thiourea-trioxane polymeric ligand were synthesized. Elemental analyses of the coordination polymers indicate a metal to ligand ratio of 1:2. The diffuse reflectance spectra and magnetic moments of coordination polymers show distorted octahedral structure. Infrared spectral studies show that the metals are coordinated through the oxygen of phenolic group and the nitrogen of oximino and thioamide groups. Thermal stability of coordination polymers was determined by thermogravimetric analysis. Semiconducting behavior of polymeric ligand and its coordination polymers was also studied by electrical conductivity measurements at different temperatures. Effects of metal ions, polymeric ligand and coordination polymers on the growth of various microorganisms were investigated so as to determine the active principle responsible for antimicrobial action of polymer samples.
