摘要
The traffic flow models are mathematical models that can describe the relationship of the macro variables of traffic flow in a state of continuous. The traffic flow models can achieve the conversion among the traffic flow variables, so control one of the variables can achieve optimal traffic performance in traffic management. So it's a great practical significance of continuing to deepen the traffic flow models for the study in the increasingly serious traffic problems. This study analysis the flow-density relations with the UnderWood model as an example. Through two linear transformations we get a response UnderWood discrete dynamical system model. Then, we carried out the analysis of discrete dynamical systems in order to understand their movement patterns. At the same time, the numerical examples show that in certain circumstances, the discrete dynamical system will have a chaotic phenomenon. OGY method can be used to achieve this control of chaotic phenomena.
