摘要
The aim of this study is to investigate how much the compressive strength of thick composite panels is reduced due to delaminations and to investigate under which conditions a delamination will grow. Understanding of this is essential in order to move forward the design limits used in the structural design process. Results obtained from finite element modeling analyses are compared with an experimental test campaign performed on flat composite panels with and without delaminations.
