Diversity of insects in various plant communities of Karachi and its neighbourhood

摘要：
Insects were sampled using sweep nets during January to June 1988 in different grass communities in Karachi and vicinity Diversity was estimated using Shannon-Wiener index. Equitability component was also computed. Diversity was generally high and was linearly dependent on equitability component.
