摘要
This study focuses on the modelling of the mechanical behaviour of single piles in sand during pile tests. The Finite Element Method (FEM) is used to simulate pile test. Numerical analyses are performed using axisymmetric and 3D geometries. Two specific points are addressed: (i) the reproduction of the installation effects prior to the loading phase in the case of jacked and driven piles and (ii) the simulation of the loading phase accounting for an accurate description of the interface behaviour. The validity of the approach is verified against field data results from an available pile test.
