The review of the species of the genus Tychus belonging to armeniacus group is given : Tychus armeniacus Saulcy, 1878 from Armenia, Georgia and southern Russia; Tychus caucasicus Saulcy, 1878 from Georgia; Tychus lenkoranus Reitter, 1881 from Azerbaijan; Tychus gibbiventris Reitter, 1884 from Israel; Tychus guillebeaui Raffray, 1904 from north-eastern Turkey, Armenia, Georgia, north-eastern Azerbaijan and southern Russia and Tychus pelopeius, sp. n. from Peloponnesus (southern Greece). A new group of species, rhodopeus group, is also definited and proposed. Four new species belonging to this group are described : Tychus rhodopeus, sp. n. from Bulgaria (north-eastern Rhodope Mountains); Tychus brachati, sp. n. from southern Serbia; Tychus sengleti, sp. n. and Tychus holzschuhi, sp. n. from northern Iran.
