摘要
A comprehensive analytical optimization of the design and geometrical parameters of the hybrid optical resonator for the KAERI compact terahertz free-electron laser (KAERI FEL) is considered. Our calculations show that the three optimization stages of increasing realization complexity augment the power of the short-wavelength radiation of the KAERI FEL 1.6, 2.6, and 4.6 fold, respectively. The long-wavelength radiation of the KAERI FEL grows 1.1, 1.4, and 2.7 fold. After relevant correction, the main principles of the described optimization can be applied to other free-electron lasers.
