Gaussian codes and the scaled nearest neighbor decoder in fading multi-antenna channels

摘要
We investigate the fading Multi-Input-Multi-Output (MIMO) channel in the presence of imperfect channel state information at the receiver. A modified nearest neighbor decoder is presented and is assumed to operate in concert with a random Gaussian coding scheme. A simple expression for the Generalized Mutual Information (GMI) is obtained. New results for the training sequences and optimal antenna usage are presented, based on the GMI rates.
