摘要
In the article the author reviews the peculiarities of the Taiwan modern political system development and the conditions of the "normal" opposition to DDP ideological platform formation in the presence of the "deep-state" management and the mass media influence in the electoral campaigns on the island, in conducting of which (as well as in the main parties' structures) there are outlined some changes in the nearest future. Also, there are analyzed the main perspectives of Taiwan development especially under the influence of the already arisen world economic crisis at the background of the pandemic COVID-19 consequences. At the general elections held in Taiwan on January the 11, 2020 there won the victory Tsai Ing-wen, the candidate from the DPP and current President of the Republic of China in Taiwan since 2016, and represented by her party which won more than half seats in the Legislative Yuan. Guomindang party, which won only one third of seats, remains the main opposition force. The DPP victory fixed and strengthened the course on turning away from the policy on gradual rapprochement between the two sides of the Strait pursued by the Guomindang former administration of the island. The DPP victory also aggravated the main contradiction inside Taiwan socium concerning the development of the cross-Strait relations, apparently revealed itself in the opposite approach to these relations on the part of the considerable number of the young voters and on the part of the aged generation. Tsai Ing-wen and the DPP got the demonstrative support on the part of the officials of the USA, Japan, France and other states and expected negative reaction on the part of Beijing administration, the more so, after Tsai Ing-wen and Taiwan administration other representatives' sharp declarations, which followed the DPP victory at the elections, containing demonstrative non-recognition of Beijing formula "one state - two systems", At the background of the existed on the island social-political contradictions and external @ANNOT2 = situation, which is characterized by the aggravation of the global economic crisis, being deepened by the growing contradictions between the USA and the PRC and the COVID-19 global pandemic outbreak, simultaneously there is growing the factor of uncertainty in the further situation development in Taiwan and around it.
