Export-Oriented Economic Transition and Development of Creative Industries

In the age of economic globalization, the competitiveness of one country is that it can produce more creative capacity. Creative industries can enhance the competitiveness of a city or country, and innovation is the essential characteristic of creative industries. For a long time, China's exported products rely mainly on low price to win market share. In the new century, as competition becomes more intense in international trade, knowledge-based economy leads the global wave of scientific and technological revolution. Based on China's urgency and severe challenges faced by the export-oriented economy, we use Porter's "Diamond Mode" and point out that in the new international economic competition, we must accelerate the transformation from export-led growth models, relying on the consumption of resources and labor, to models of scientific technological progress and continuous technological innovation.
