摘要
ITER Equatorial Port #12 is a diagnostic port which will be installed for ITER first plasma operation. This integrated system contains in-vessel and ex-vessel structures to allow diagnostic systems to make critical measurements during plasma operation and provides a strong radiation shielding function to protect equipment and personnel. It is challenging to design due to the harsh nuclear environment and complex interface requirements. To assure the integration of the design and to meet ITER requirements, design quality controls must be implemented such as design verification, design change control, design review, etc. Those control methods or actions are strictly performed to lay the quality foundation for the follow-up manufacturing and integration test and thus the product quality of the integrated port assembly.
