Gross National Happiness Index: The Value Orientation of the Local Government Performance Evaluation

Concerned with the well-being of the residents has been paid more and more attention by government departments and recognition. At present, China's local government performance evaluation system continue to improve and discover, from too much emphasis on the amount of GDP growth to a green GDP included in the assessment system. Local Government Performance Evaluation in China is also facing a single assessment system, evaluation of content frame is unsound condition, performance evaluation, the lack of a national government as feedback. Therefore, the Gross National Happiness Index to be included in local government performance evaluation system is particularly necessary.
