摘要
Ship-to-Ship (STS) operations are carried out and controlled by human operators. Decision-support and/or automatic control systems that can provide adequate course, speed and approaching distances, should be considered to support the human operator in further enhancing the level of safety and efficiency of STS operations. A nonlinear controller is proposed for an STS operation involving a flagship and external ships that are maintaining speed vector and specified intra-ship distances, respectively.
