摘要
Plant fossils from the Kukpowruk River sections compose two floral assemblages (taphofloras). The Kukpowruk taphoflora derived from the Kukpowruk Formation and the lower-middle part of the Corwin Formation consists of 53 species. Owing to its similarity to the Buor-kemuss flora of northeastern Russia, this taphoflora can be dated as the early (?) Albian-first half of the late Albian. The Corwin taphoflora. of the upper part of the Corwin Formation comprises 23 species. The stratigraphic position of the plant-bearing beds and the close similarity of the Corwin taphoflora to the late Albian-Cenomanian floras of northeastern Russia suggest the late Albian-Cenomanian age of this taphoflora.
