Morphology and karyotype of Glyptotendipes sp (Diptera, Chironomidae) with 2n=4

摘要
A species of the genus Glyptotendipes (2n = 4) with the chromosome art combination CDEF. ABG (arms are marked according to homeology with G. paripes Edw. -arm combination AB.CD.EF.G) was discovered. The Babiani ring is localized in arm C, another Babiani ring and one nucleoli, in arm C. Six types of heterozygous inversions were found. The mean number of inversions per individual is 0.80. The morphology of Glyptotendipes larva is described. A comparison of the morphology and the species karyotype revealed that this species is much more similar to G. paripes (2n = 8).
