摘要
Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in general and especially low back pain are a real occupational health problem in Tunisia. These are currently the most common occupational diseases especially in the textile and clothing sector. Aims. This study aimed to analyze the gestural and postural constraints in sewing workstations. Methods. A descriptive cross-sectional epidemiological survey and a video observation of two representative sewing workstations were used. The data were processed using the Kronos-Actogram (c) software. Results. The results have objectified a high and dense work pace per working day. The ergonomic work analysis revealed the existence of postures and movements that are Painful and affect the health of the operators, characterized by low back pain and MSDs of the upper limbs. Conclusion. Improved organization of industrial clothing as proposed would offer more opportunities to take a break or to increase the empowerment of operators in developing their activities.
