Using consistency measures and attribute dependencies for solving conflicts in adaptive systems

摘要
In this paper we consider two problems related to consensus determining as a tool for conflict resolution. The first problem concerns the consistency measures for conflict profiles which could be useful for taking decision if the consensus should be determined or not. The second problem refers to dependencies of attributes representing the content of conflicts, which cause that one may not treat the attributes independently in consensus determining. We show that using some kind of distance functions may enable to determine consensus in the same way when the attributes are independent on each other.
