A Three-Dimensional Porous Metal-Organic Framework with a Body-Centered Cubic Topology Constructed from 48-Membered Tetraicosanuclear Metallamacrocycle Based on in Situ Ligand Synthesis

摘要
A three-dimensional metal-organic framework [Cd-3(mu(4)-mtta)(3)(N-3)(3)]center dot 2.5H(2)O with [Cd-24(N-3)(24)] tetraicosanuclear metallamacrocycle as secondary building units (SBUs) and helical character is formed by self-assembly and in situ ligand synthesis. Each tetraicosanuclear metallamacrocycle SBU connects to eight neighboring tetraicosanuclear metallamacrocycle SBUs through 5-methyl tetrazolate (mtta) ligands, resulting in a body-centered cubic (bcu) topology. Thermal stability, variable-temperature powder X-ray diffraction, and luminescence spectrum of the compound were also studied.
