Fast thinning algorithm ready for real-time application

摘要：
A fast thinning algorithm is presented. It is based on the pixel index computation and application of a look-up table. The pixels whose removal does not cause line breaking are iteratively set to zero. The algorithm run quite fast and requires moderate number of iterations of the entire image.
