摘要
On 1999 August 11, a total eclipse of the Sun will be visible from parts of central Europe, Turkey, the Middle East and India. NASA is preparing a special bulletin on the eclipse which contains detailed predictions, tables, maps, and meteorological data useful for planning eclipse expeditions and scientific observations. Public information is also provided for eye safety, viewing and eclipse photography. The bulletin will be published by the end of 1996. It will also be available via the World Wide Web from: http://umbra.nascom.nasa.gov/eclipse/index.html.
