摘要
This paper describes an implementation of multi threaded servlets for a multiple choice quiz generation and management scheme. The main objective of using a Java servlet to build a secure quiz, or could be extended to be an online examination, is to obtain the security HTML does not have. The HTML pages dynamically call the main servlet in which it will then call on other servlets so that users do not contact the actual data like the database of questions and answers. We also do away that the usual radio button style of multiple choice input which is replaced by slider bars. In this way, students can assign a confidence level to their answers. By correlating individual question answers and their designated confidence levels, with overall correctness statistics, it becomes possible to calculate a trust factor for a set of answers. This can provide a means of eliminating guessing and also provide an estimate of learning.
