An MPI-1 Compliant Thread-Based Implementation

摘要
This work presents AzequiaMPI, the first full compliant implementation of the MPI-1 standard where the MPI node is a thread. Performance comparisons with MPTCH2-Nemesis show that thread-based implementations exploit adequately the multicore architectures under oversubscription, what could make MPI competitive with OpenMP-like solutions.
