摘要
Socio-economic position of professionals and managers (by Ovsey Shkaratan and Serguey Inyasevsky) introduces into the discourse of Russian professionals and managers a notion of integrated satisfaction measure displayed by respondents towards their work and its component parts, that is - work conditions, remuneration, and opportunities for professionals career advances. Four social professional groups are under scrutiny: professionals, high skill professionals, middle-level and upper-middle-level managers. Readiness to change the place of employment and profession, as well as commitment to standart functions is extensively discussed. Respondents' conformity to normative requirements of the current labor market is considered.
