MANOR TOURISM IN THE SYSTEM OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGION

Aim. The paper aims to find mechanisms for the formation and implementation of manor tourism as a driver of socio-economic development of certain territories and means for preserving cultural and historical objects. Materials and methods. The study is based both theoretically and methodologically on scientific literature of domestic and foreign scientists in the field of cultural tourism and tourism development. The research was carried out using general scientific methods of theoretical and empirical knowledge: retrospective analysis, synthesis, comparison. Conclusion. The article summarizes theoretical approaches, identifies features and substantiates existing opinions regarding manor tourism as a means for attracting tourist investment to the regions that have important cultural and historical accommodation facilities such as villas, manors, country estates; it is argued that manor tourism is one of the important types of tourism in terms of existing tourism traditions and economy of impressions.
