摘要：
Inherited and acquired anomalies of epidermal structural and enzymatic proteins have common effects in impairment of the skin barrier, causing increased susceptibility to develop atopic dermatitis (AD). In AD, a complex interaction of epidermal barrier and immunoactivation determines reactions to environmental factors (e.g. allergens and microbes). Management of AD deals both with epidermal barrier and skin inflammation. Emerging research for preventive approaches using early "barrier therapy" may lead to new strategies to reduce transcutaneous allergic sensitization. This can result in decreased risk for allergy to food and inhalant allergens.
