摘要
The current paper develops a probabilistic power flow algorithm for a radial distribution system with considering a placement of shunt capacitors based on analytical approach. Generally, shunt capacitors are used in the power system for improvement of power factor. However, the injected reactive power in the radial distribution system has a significant effect on the total power losses and voltage profile. Hence, to increase the benefits and study the impact of installation shunt capacitors in radial distribution systems, a proposed probabilistic load flow analysis for radial distributions system (PLFRDS) including capacitors is implemented based on the analytical approach. The analytical technique is a combination of Cumulant-moment and Gram-Charlier expansion and utilized to express the random characteristic of the load demand variation. The developed PLFRDS is employed on the East Delta Network (EDN) 30 node and 85 node radial distribution systems. Finally, the obtained result for the developed PLFRDS is compared with Monte Carlo.
